Saver ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
Key point: All image processing in Saver happens entirely in your browser. Your screenshots and app assets are never uploaded to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or create an account.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never store your card details.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics — page views, feature usage, and performance metrics via Vercel Analytics. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Log data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
- Local storage — your plan status and usage counters are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
Information we do NOT collect
- Your app screenshots or any images you upload (processing is 100% client-side)
- Device frame configurations or export settings
- AI-generated captions or descriptions you enter
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Saver service
- To send you product updates and announcements (waitlist emails only — you can unsubscribe anytime)
- To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
Saver uses the following third-party services that may process your data:
Data shared: Email, billing information

4. Data Retention
- Waitlist emails: retained until you request deletion or we launch our paid product.
- Account data: retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
- Payment records: retained as required by Stripe and applicable tax laws (typically 7 years).
- Server logs: automatically deleted after 30 days.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: update inaccurate data
- Deletion: request that we delete your data
- Unsubscribe: opt out of marketing emails at any time
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format

6. Cookies
Saver does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use browser local storage to remember your preferences and plan status. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly approach that does not require cookie consent under most jurisdictions.

Saver is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@saverapp.io.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist and account holders of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
