Saver ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it.
Key point: All image processing in Saver happens entirely in your browser. Your screenshots and app assets are never uploaded to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and profile details when you authenticate with Clerk.
- Project and workflow data — for example project names and workflow-step state when you use the dashboard and project mode.
- Waitlist, beta, restore-access, and feedback submissions — including any email address or message you choose to submit.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
- AI inputs — text prompts you submit for AI features, and screenshot image data when you explicitly use AI Vision screenshot analysis.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics — page views, feature usage, and performance metrics via Vercel Analytics. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Log data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited, retained for up to 30 days for security purposes.
- Local storage — plan state, usage counters, and encrypted local credentials may be stored in your browser for convenience.
Information we do NOT collect
- Your screenshots for normal editing, preview, and export flows. Those stay client-side.
- Your store publishing credentials as permanently stored server-side records during ordinary use.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Saver service
- To authenticate your account and manage your subscription status
- To store and synchronize project/workflow state where the product supports it
- To send you product updates and announcements when you join the waitlist or otherwise opt in
- To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe
- To operate AI features and return generated results
- To complete publishing and tester-management actions you explicitly request
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Third-Party Services
Saver uses the following third-party services that may process your data:
Data shared: Account identity data such as email address and profile information
Data shared: Email, billing information
Data shared: IP address, page views
Data shared: Project metadata, emails, feedback, operational app data
Data shared: Text prompts and screenshot image data you submit for AI features
Data shared: Text prompts and screenshot image data you submit for AI features
Data shared: Credentials or tokens and app metadata you submit for Apple publishing actions
Data shared: Credentials or tokens and app metadata you submit for Google publishing actions
4. Data Retention
- Waitlist, beta, and feedback submissions: retained until no longer needed for the purpose collected, or until you request deletion where applicable.
- Account and project data: retained while your account is active, subject to operational and legal retention requirements.
- Payment records: retained as required by Stripe and applicable tax laws (typically 7 years).
- Server logs: automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Locally stored credentials: remain in your browser until you clear them, clear storage, or use Saver's remove/forget controls.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: update inaccurate data
- Deletion: request that we delete your data
- Unsubscribe: opt out of marketing emails at any time
- Portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format

6. Cookies
Saver does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use browser local storage to remember your preferences, usage counters, and certain local encrypted credentials. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-friendly approach that does not require cookie consent under most jurisdictions.
7. Children's Privacy
Saver is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at privacy@saverapp.io.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account holders or opted-in contacts of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
